Gaughan Takes South Point Hotel & Casino Tundra Back to Nashville
Mooresville, N.C. (July 21, 2011) – Nashville Superspeedway us up on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule for the second time this season. In race 5 on the schedule, Brendan Gaughan qualified 22nd, spent most of the race competing just outside the top-ten in eleventh place only to have the day’s hard work wrapped up in someone else’s crash just 12 laps shy of the finish.
“If you are a Germain Racing driver, you have to have confidence when you are heading into a Nashville race weekend. The team has a great feel for tracks within the mile and a half range. From what we saw with our Toyota there in the spring, I know I’m looking forward to racing there Friday night,” said Gaughan.
Gaughan will race chassis TRD-122. The truck has been to victory lane with Todd Bodine ( Darlington , 2010), and has also been driven by Justin Lofton. The chassis has been a go-to truck in the Germain Racing fleet since June of 2008.
