Brendan Gaughan Finishes 28th at Dover International Speedway
Brendan Gaughan and the No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro qualified 12th for Saturday afternoon’s Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway. The Richard Childress Racing teams day experienced trouble early when issues with the right front suspension sent the team to the garage on lap 11. The Shane Wilson-led team was able to repair the South Point Hotel & Casino Camaro and return to the track eight laps down. The Las Vegas-native fought for the remainder of the day to make up as much ground as possible and crossed the finish line in the 28th position. Brendan Gaughan and the No. 62 team remain eighth in the driver point standings as the Nationwide Series heads to Kansas Speedway.

BRENDAN GAUGHAN QUOTE:
“This was a disappointing day for this 62 South Point team. My guys did a great job with repairs at the beginning of the race and getting me back out on track after we had an issue with the left front suspension. These things happen, it is just part of racing.”
